I decided I need to be here; I live in the country but as long as people within a few miles use fireworks the animals will freak out. I can move them into the barn and stay with them to calm them.

I have done it a few times. Playing soft but louder than normal music also helps. Mostly they just need to see humans are not scared of the noise.
