In fact, you actually have a lot more in common with a homeless person on the street begging passersby for spare change a lot more than you think. Because you both rely on the generosity of other people. The homeless person relies on the generosity of passersby to give him some change, in fact lots of homeless people are actually looking for jobs and since the government can't force business owners to give them jobs as passersby can't be forced by the government to give their spare change. The difference between you and a homeless person is that you were a 100x more lucky to find a person so generous to not only give you a job but willing to pay you a high amount despite there not being any government enforced laws forcing them to much like how a homeless beggar is extremely lucky to find a person generous enough to give them a $20 bill. You getting a good paying job from a person who has the decency to treat you with the respect a human being deserves is purely a fluke in a world full of sociopathic people who refuse to treat others with basic human respect with only government enforced basic law and order to prevent them from treating you even worse. You do have the merit and work ethic that you were rewarded for but even getting rewarded for your merit and work ethic is pure luck on your part for this a world full of people who refuse to have the basic decency to reward your work ethic or even give you a chance. And when you dare to beg for some basic respect as a working man, society deems you a "lazy entitled socialist/communist" who just wants something for nothing and even wants communist tyranny inflicted on people even though you don't adhere to any sort of ideology as dogmatic as Marxism and you wanting basic respect as a human being and a man who is willing to work has nothing to do with any sort of political ideology. If it weren't for your pure stroke of luck of being at the right place and time within the vicinity of an overwhelming generous person, you would be on the street with ever other homeless person. I do hear a lot of people complain about getting a free pizza party from their employer instead of a raise but I really think they shouldn't complain so much for a free pizza lunch is actually a rather generous thing for an employer to do and they are also lucky to have a job at all given how so many people would rather have them be unpaid, homeless and die in the gutter and rather not hire them at all and have robots do their job instead
