I haven't been to church in a long time but I'm always reading my bible and praying.

That's ok. There are a lot of "Christians" that only go to church but rarely read the Bible for themselves. But it is good to get with a church or small group so that you can have fellowship and grow. Pray that the Holy Spirit guides you and you'll find one. I've heard it well said that a coal out of the fire slowly burns out.
