Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time

Back then, even the names were way cooler than now. I don't know if you ever seen, but once in awhile I'll refer to my supposed extensive Peabo Bryson record collection, which of course I don't have, but it sounded like a cool and kinda humorous thing to say. Not to mock Peabo Bryson, but it's the sort of thing somebody says about the Beatles or Led Zeppelin or something.

Then, we heard yesterday that he passed away, so there goes that quip.
Rest in peace, Peabo Bryson.

Of course now, I had gone to look up that "Across the Borderline," and found out in the process that Freddy Fender had also passed away, R.I.P.

I also gave a listen to "When the Next Teardrop Falls" now.
