In the past, immigration laws required a sponsor to support new arrivals for at least 2 years. Which meant housing and financial support.

As it is now, government supports new arrivals on day one. Tapping into government social services. Draining resources meant for American citizens as a safety net.

Cry compassion all you want yet overwhelming the system is dumb. Fraud and government corruption is the death of the USA.
