Sponsorship was probably an easy thing to do when a person could buy three or four shopping carts worth of food for twenty to thirty dollars and our education system was the best in the world. . .but now. . .it's the same thing like how grocery stores and restaurants used to give excess food to soup kitchens, churches, etc to feed the poor before the food went bad had to be thrown away. . .and like immigrant sponsorship, government had to step in and say they knew better. . .
