I'm a believer in the idea that Jesus turn the other cheek but he also turned over tables meaning he was just as human as the rest of us but he was also God in the flesh and he knows our emotions
It's one thing to be God up in heaven and telling people I told you not to do that I told you not to do that and yet we do it anyway and so the fire in brimstone come down the gnashing of teeth and yet we still do it
It took God becoming human and becoming one of us to see life through our eyes how we know I have to be better I know there's a world beyond this I know that there is a judgment coming from my decisions
But it's like we're in a stream heading towards the waterfall and the currents getting faster we can't break out of it we know what's coming and so we act out humanly you know eat drink and be merry because in a minute I have to die
That's the rub that we fight against and at the enemy exploits but I believe that Jesus the Christ came back from the dead and that's why I tell everybody to start did he or didn't he?
Everything else in the Bible you can rationalize it all you want their morality tales they're fantasy but you have to ask yourself did Jesus come back from the dead or didn't he? Start there and then work your way backwards
