They see hatred as universally wrong, and if you're a "hater", it means you're an ignorant fool.
Sometimes hatred is justified. Hatred of murdering babies in the womb (aka abortion) is one example of justifiable hatred. Those who hate abortion actually know what they're talking about. It's those who practice and promote abortion who are the ignorant fools.
