It's literally instictual (If that's a word) for a baby to want its mother, and these two douchef**ks are laughing and mocking it for that and even calling the baby "Homophobic"

Don't think they realize how important a mother is to a baby (they absolutely should), but they know better than to call a baby homophobic.

Denying a baby its mother can be fine, but the way it's presented to the child is simply unacceptable. Also, babies at this stage are rapidly developing limbic systems, and an experience like this can hurt them deeply. The last sentence only extends to its physical needs, but you fail to see the part that they need continuous love, and to mock the baby is no way to treat it.

It may be a joke, but not the best joke to use in this context. Babies also cry when distressed or want something, in this case his "mom," so how would it make sense if the baby isn't even aware of what's said. It's a sign of distress, asking for mom but being denied and laughed at. That's simply cruelty.
