How many Catholics can you alienate by criticizing the Pope?

Catholic democrats don't really care about what's said, whether it be the Pope or the POTUS. Because if they did, they wouldn't vote democrat, since the Pope (any Pope, not just this one) is staunchly anti-abortion and says so, whenever possible.

Of course it's not that simple. If it were, then Trump soft-bashing the Pope actually would make a difference, when the reality is that it won't. Aside from mostly ignoring Trump's bluster, catholics in all the little democrat identity boxes are fed up with the democrat party, with one of the big issues being abortion, let alone crime, illegal immigration, etc., etc. All issues issues which the democrats have mis-managed and since landed on the wrong side. Dems aren't even the party of the working class any more. Trump took that from them, too.

We both know the only data that matters are elections. The left will in all likelihood do well in the midterms, even if Trump wraps up the war in Iran in time for gas prices to go back to pre-Biden levels and the economy is booming. Why? Because the media will lie to the sheeple about it, and being sheeple with no curiosity to find out the truth, they'll gobble up the lies as they have done since 2015. (well earlier than that, for some...)

So the dems will have two years of doing nothing except stopping everything Trump wants to do. (that's a good look going into the 2028 elections!) Well, nothing but impeachment after impeachment, which will of course go nowhere since there are still some adults in the senate. Some.

well, when you put it that way, quite a lot of cars. what would stop me is that, despite my many faults, I wouldn't misrepresent myself like that to you and the other meming consumers. it's wouldn't be an honest philosophy, would it?
