I don't like it, but I feel nothing when the criticism comes from people who don't believe in Jesus anyway.

If you truly believed in Jesus' teachings, you would be a critic of this administration.

And if you truly believed in Jesus' teachings, you would be a Christian and worship Jesus Christ as Lord. Just like He taught.

Do you think Trump does that?

Irrelevant. You brought up Jesus, so therefore you tell me if you follow Him as Lord or if you're just using Him as a hammer to beat people over the head with.

I do not follow Christ as a lord, but I do conduct my life according to his teachings. I'm not looking for post-death rebirth, or the glory or splendor of kingdoms, whether in this world, or in the next.

I do, however, strive to live Christ's example here on Earth, which I believe is the most important takeaway from the lessons of the Bible - how I conduct myself in this life, to my living neighbors, stranger or friend. I believe doing good for others on this plane is paramount.

What is most valuable to you? It's interesting to me your first thoughts went to worship and lordship.

I would actually find striving to live Christ's example on Earth to be the most terrifying and exhausting existence: because He was perfect. He taught that it's not enough to follow the 10 Commandments, but that even breaking them in our hearts and minds was enough to condemn us. Trying to emulate a person who increased the severity of what it means to break a commandment would be a hard existence; one none of us could achieve. And then, on top of that, to love and pray for your enemies and do good to those who would abuse me, including dying on their behalf? Sheesh. I couldn't do that.

Unless you mean "I try to be nice, share, and play well with others" when you say "I strive to live Christ's example here on Earth". To follow in someone's footsteps while denying their fundamental claims about their identity is strange IMO. Why bother trying to emulate someone if you reject their claims to authority? Was Jesus a good person, yes! But there are plenty of other moral figures we could emulate too, so why Jesus?

Well of course it went to worship and Lordship: Jesus is my Lord and my God who is worthy to receive honor and praise (credit where credit is due, right?).
What's most important to me is the question "Is Jesus who He claimed to be?" Because if He's not the Son of God, then He was either a liar or insane. And insane liars are not worth emulating. If Jesus is telling the truth about being the Son of God and His death did pay for all my sins, that changes everything.

All religions contain wisdom about getting on in this world and leading a secular life - as one might learn lessons from observable human psychology.

The operative word is "striving" - as one might strive to create in the ways of great musical, literary, or artistic masters. It does not mean that one becomes overburdened by a goal of BEING the master from which they learn.

Jesus could very well be truthfully the son of God - but even a liar or insane man in one regard, does not negate his speaking to human truths in other regards. I don't know why you think it's strange - unless you take an all or nothing approach. I do not. This world isn't black and white, it's a full spectrum, if you choose to see it.

You ask me, "why Jesus?" I say, "why not Jesus? And Krishna? And the Dalai Lama? And Plato? And Da Vinci? And Van Gogh?"

H. Don’t care, I know this is a distraction for the loons whom spend all their time and effort obsessing over it.

Do you need a refresher on how many court rulings determined Trump actions UNCONSTITUTIONAL?

Submitted to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals by the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA), a complaint “addresses probable judicial misconduct” by D.C. Senior District Judge Beryl Howell. The filing specifically highlights “recent reports that [Howell] consulted with members of the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) in strategizing on how to prosecute President Trump and other members of his administration, specifically the Arctic Frost (Special Counsel Jack Smith’s elector lawfare against Trump) investigation and prosecutions.”

Howell, saying she ‘liked’ and ‘loved’ the DOJ’s approach, reveals a deeper problem,” .... “Judicial impartiality does not mean having no opinions, but these opinions must be formed through the proper adversarial process. Expressing personal enthusiasm for one party’s litigation strategy is not neutral.”
