Wasn't it like people took advantage of the exposure time in order to make cool effects? Heard about it, but I don't know if this is what is at play here. But it's cool no matter what.
This is from a site that tries to get legit pictures from vintage times and this was apparently at a wake before the funeral. If it's real, the face is too perfectly there to be just lens flare
