3 were impressed. Are people too busy to UPVOTE?
Does it cost something other than time?

Far too many, I believe, are competing against every other submitter here and won't upvote anyone else for fear of being beaten by another. Also, there are those that don't want certain others to succeed at all. I realize that I am never going to be number 1 overall and don't mind if others do well. I upvote humor, information, and pithy comments. I also regularly search out the posts of people I follow and upvote them because they have already proven to meet the requirements I have set for the upvote process and do not fail to produce upvotable content on a regular basis. 😌😊👍

Interesting as I (like you) always upvote the best memes/content as I support that person's outlook and interpretation. I want others to notice and enjoy it so try to garner attention to it. I really hadn't considered competition as a possibility, but you are right to bring it up, D. :)

I do understand on political stuff, why a person would not want to upvote memes if they are gainfully employed and do not want a trail. I totally respect that approach today. I am lucky as I don't work and am able to say what I believe without repercussion.

I just upvote the memes that stand out. Makes them more special, yknow?
