I used to think Socialized Medicine was a good deal... then I got a hip replacement in WV and there were 3 Canadians and 2 Brits there to get hip and knee surgeries too. They all waited 5 years before borrowing money to come here and get it done and pay out of pocket. I had to wait a month or 2 until they could find someone to fill in for me at work.
One of the Canadians cried when I told him that.
"Don't let your government do this to you, yank." A brit said.

It's not socialized medicine. Democratic and communist and socialist systems are all different.

Democratic systems are capitalist.

Why do you confuse democratic capitalism with communism?

I'm not confused kid. Democratic Socialism, Marxism, Communism it's all the same crap. Collectivism. A bad idea that never worked anywhere in the 175 years they tried it.
You can market a turd however you want - it's still a turd. Did you know in China they cut your "Free Socialized Healthcare " off when you're 59?
40 years ago when I left college as a young man I believed in this left wing Marxist garbage too. Then I grew up.

No. I don't advocate for any of these things. Neither do the democrats.

I think that you're just so far right that your need for pride and your emotions outweigh the reality that humans need healthcare to survive.

Look at south korea! A succesful country. The conservatives there have good healthcare. And they're not communist. We can be like south korea too.

Because you're going to get it too.

Do you really have access if it takes 60 weeks to get an appointment?

Exactly

So you're saying you'd rather die? How extreme. Instead of working on fixing healthcare, you're just saying we should just kill ourselves.

please tell me where I said to kill yourself because wait times are excessive in government heath care

Well it sounds like you're implying we should just stop with the healthcare instead of fixing it.

Not everyone is tricked into believing it’s broken

Well if its so broken, then try to fix it! Don't just whine about how bad it is. We all need healthcare so it would be a pleasure if you stepped up to fix it.

Can’t fix what you don’t see as broken

So you're saying that you don't see what's so broken about US healthcare then? Then why did you post comments meant to make US healthcare look bad if you can't see and don't know what's so broken about it?
0 ups, 4w
If you think My comments were to make American healthcare look bad then I understand why you think the healthcare system is broken.

Nope. Not a cold. Just any appointment.

And Ontario isn't even America! I was talking about America here.

Sorry, when you were talking about other countries having access, yet that access is 26-60 weeks out, wanting that here is moronic

No. The average appointment is the US is 31 days time. What happens in Canada is Canada. What happens in America is America.
1 up, 4w
And if you wait that long in America, you need to change doctors

Obviously, you know nothing about socialized medicine
0 ups, 4w
Well what's about it? As long as the undocumented immigrants don't get the full scope of it, what's the problem?
0 ups, 4w
You don't care about healthcare do you?
0 ups, 4w
So you're not jealous that the richest county in the world can't provide basic healthcare for its own citizens?
