Yes sir. Not during a war, not in combat. But I know many that did. I don't relish the idea of sending more to be harmed for a FOOL's Errand on behalf of a foreign nation.
...and? If you had seen combat the chances you'd want to send others into it is vanishingly small...which is my point. It's always the ones who think of the missed glory or the almost served who are the hottest to trot at the prospect of sending others to war.
