"The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (1996) included Judge Claude Frollo, the most dangerous villain created by The Walt Disney Company, who burned a whole city to the ground and killed thousands, possibly millions of people. Yes, the movie featured religion, but it was excessively dark.

Yeah, it made the religious guy an open hypocrite, a horn dog, and a monsterous villain, clinging to the letter of the law to the exclusion of the spirit (so original 🙄)

You're right. By comparison, "The Fugitive" (1993) is a much more wholesome movie.
