The liberals conveniently confuse earnings gap with pay gap. As a group in its entirety, females do earn less than all men combined. That just means that there are more men in higher paying careers. One example would be the difference between NBA and WNBA pay. That is not based on women’s abilities, but on economics of advertising revenue generated.

There’s an idea, declare all the employees are male and in the name of equality, pay them a lower female wage
