Nowhere does the constitution say I can’t own a 30 round magazine, a short barreled rifle, a .50cal machine gun or have to wait three days before I get my firearm purchase.
Regarding elections, Article I, Section 4.1 of the constitution grants the legislature authority to regulate state election laws.
But in regard to elections nowhere did it say the standard to vote was being a white male land owner either but that was generally the election requirement standard until about 1824 or until Jackson was elected and election dynamics shifted but im sure you Supreme leader would jump to go back to that standard as would Russell vought.
As far as firearms the only in existence at the time the constitution was written were flintlocks. Hence one could argue that fire arms in the constitution are explicitly meant to be flintlocks thus any other firearm wouldn't be covered. I won't say its a valid argument rather it could be argued that way if someone crafted it in an articulate manner. But again the meme has nothing to do with that. Its satire based on something related to politics which you need an IQ to understand.
Wrong! The constitution specifically says “arms “, not “firearms “. This would include muskets, bayonets, knives, tomahawks, hatchets, axes, cannons, mortars and the blunderbuss of the time period. It would also include any future arms.
IF WE PASS THE SAVE ACT YOU STAND SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH TRUMP. IF HE GOES DOWN YOU GO WITH HIM. I'VE READ THE CONSTITUTION COVER TO COVER NO WHERE DOES IT SAY YOU MUST PROVE CITIZENSHIP TO VOTE; I DONT WANT ANYONE IN THIS ROOM RUNNING OFF TO THE WASHINGTON POST SAYING HOW THEY WERE THE LONE VOICE OF OPPOSITION.
