The second Amendment is to assure others heed to the first Amendment. Not to mention assurances for the other Amendments.

I fail to see why we need it at all

75% of Americans can’t name more than 3 Amendments

75% of liberals can't follow more than 3 amendments

I can:
I named the1st amendment George
I named the 2nd Amendment Browning
I named the 3rd Amendment Steve
I named the 4th Amendment Lisa
I named the 5th Amendment Bill
and so forth and so on, etc etc

Maybe so. Yet it doesn’t negate the fact that these amendments are for our protection. If you are willing to fight for them on accession.

The problem is not the number of guns, but the predisposition of the carriers to use them. Frankly, I believe that many Americans who purchase a firearm fantasize about using it. That’s your COWBOY CULTURE!

I’ve been carrying a firearm for over 30 years and have never fired it in anger. Ever.
Have pulled it to stop a fool with a knife and pulled it to stop someone from stealing my car… held both for the law enforcement officers to pick up.
p.s. in the first instance if I had shot and killed him, I would have been “No-Billed” by a Grand Jury. In fact, the DA wouldn’t have even brought charges against me.

You're not good at math are you? There's around 30,000 gun deaths per year. Half of those are suicides. Over half of what's left are crooks who get shot by cops, other crooks, their victims, girlfriendsetc. You're left with under 7000 gun deaths per year. Out of MILLIONS of guns in a country of 300 million.
