Showing detained illegals shooting hoops, getting free healthcare, and sitting in leather armchairs in the library isn't going to evoke as much anger at ICE as calling them "concentration camps" will.

ICE allows illegals to check them out for themselves, yet none of them ever come out and complain. It is possible they are all happy inside.

They have it better than our own citizens in prison do: cafeteria with free food, free medical attention, a gym, a library with working internet, and free childcare. All off of our backs of course.

Because that shit is a simple search away.

But then you'd probably have to read through the policy and see that visits have to be approved. Then you'd have to take a moment to think "well, if all visits have to be approved and there's no pictures of visits...does that mean that journalists aren't being approved for visits?"

Wait, visits have to be approved? At detention centers for federal criminals???? OF ALL PLACES??????!!!????!?!?!??!?!?!

The reality is every jail, prison and detention center has rules to enter. The staff have real jobs that have to done every day to protect themselves, the detained and any visitors. Outsiders are in the way, the reason for the visit doesn't change that.

The hard truth is even if the left were right and the accommodations were bad (they are not) it would not matter, most of the illegals are not in them very long before they are processed and sent home.

Because if the visitors who do go in and aren't allowed to take pictures say it's awful in there, and the people who do take pictures aren't allowed in there, what does that lead you to think?

Because if it wasn't awful, it sure would be easy to disprove by inviting in the people who take pictures to take pictures whenever and where ever they wanted to take pictures.

Why do you think they're not disproving "it's awful in there" with a lot of pictures?

So what do we do about the pictures and videos of the detention facilities that show the detainees are living better than most of our prisoners like in Dilley, Baldwin, and Houston?
Just cover out ears and close our eyes?

Also, I think it bears repeating; yes, there are some facilities that are pretty awful that were built during the Obama administration and had their budgets cut under the Biden administration, but they never would have had to go to those facilities if they hadn't have broken out immigration laws and if Biden's administration hadn't restartedly opened our Southern border.
