Yes, it depends. Many sports heroes deserve a lot more respect than actors/actresses. The big stars of "Frozen 3" for example, are going to be paid $30,000,000 just to talk into microphones. Doesn't that sound excessive?
I agree with you. A salary of $1,000,000 per year is excessive if you're just following orders. Now if you have a high-ranking leadership role, making millions per year makes more sense.
