We have that now, here in the Peoples' Republik of Taxifornia, San Francisco sector, South Bay block.

Their war on ICE doesn't stop with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

They're also at war with ICE, as in internal combustion engines. Parking meters is only the tip of the iceberg. (no pun intended)

Here in Taxifornia, they make the price of gas so high that some can't afford it. They also turn perfectly good 4 lane roads (even those that feed highways) into two lane nightmares with bike lanes as generous as car lanes, even reserving the right of way in the right lane for bikes.

As I drive home from work each weeknight, and see the traffic on the other side of my formerly free flowing road now a parking lot backed up for miles (NOT an exaggeration), I can't help but think how their pathetic attempts to reduce carbon emissions has probably doubled carbon emissions with that slow moving traffic. Typical dumbotards... good intentions (from their pov) executed so poorly, as is govt's wont, that the effect is the exact opposite of what they intended.

They are trying to force us to stop using our cars. Definitely here in Taxifornia, where it will be illegal to buy a new gas car in 2035.

So it's a war on the automobile.
