He claims to be from the US, New York City for that matter. He can actually provide anecdotal proof for what your meme states, having witnessed this first hand. Literally.

But then again, he has no idea what you're talking about, because he has never been here to witness it.

On the other hand, regardless of where he lives, he actually has witnessed it first hand from his own ethnicity.

He used to claim he was from New York City. Until I started asking him things like what was his favorite radio station when he was young after he said he about listening to the John Peel Show (which was never broadcasted anywhere in the US). Then he said he's from Texas. That's after living all over the world growing up.
