And tanked the following week, adding verification to the talk that tickets were bought in blocks and distributed free. We know they were distributed to nursing homes and bingo halls, and there was even an ad in Craigslist in Boston that offered a ticket plus $50 to anybody who sat through the whole thing.
To date, not only has it not recouped costs, it hasn't even recouped the cost of just advertising, nor the money that Melania herself alone was paid up front.
