There's no tariffs on American made goods, buy American and dont pay tariffs.

Buy foreign junk as in "made in China" which translates to "will break soon", and pay tariffs for the pleasure of having to buy another before you had planned.

Nope, that's not how it works. If, for example, (THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE TO SHOW THE MECHANISM, don't get stuck on the details) without tariffs, a carton of American eggs costs $3, and a carton of imported eggs costs $2.80, but tariffs drive the price of the imported eggs up to $3.30, then the American eggs outcompete the imported eggs, so the eggs people buy go from $2.80 to $3.00, so people who buy American are ABSOLUTELY affected buy the tariffs.

Europe has gotten over since WW2 placing tarrifs on American goods while we didnt tax theirs. It was supposed to be a way of helping their economies recover although these days it's just another tax helping to fund their socialism.

If they dont like us placing tariffs on their goods maybe they should get rid of theirs first as a show of good faith, otherwise ours is just leveling the playing feild and encouraging people to buy American.

You still haven't responded to my point that tariffs DRIVE UP the cost of living.

One of the dirty little secrets is it the consumer pays everything they pay for the cost of production the cost of Labor the cost of taxes on the products used the transportation cost to get it to the store everything that goes into making a widget the consumer pays.

This country ran on tariffs before the income tax was established, and so yes I would agree it raises the cost to the consumer on all products it does but all I am saying is that you're up especially needs to get rid of theirs first if they want us to get rid of ours all we are doing is leveling the playing field.

Look at Japan they have 100% tariffs on American cars which doubles their price there and encourages their citizens to buy Japanese meanwhile we don't have nowhere near that here in America and therefore you see a lot of Japanese cars on the road by forcing people to buy American long-term that creates jobs here in America.

And so yes I agree it raises the end cost to the consumer but everything does that not just tariffs that's one layer of the onion in the final cost and of Europe especially doesn't like it then they can get rid of theirs first and then we can think about getting rid of ours
