The fact that Democrats are now willing to open the government because she's gone tells me
1) They wanted her scalp so they could show their radical base that they took down Trump's head of deportations.
2) Trump being pissed at Noem was cover for him firing her because Trump needs the government open for the economy. Remember, he posted that because of the last shut down caused by Democrats it took 1-2 points off of GDP. So he gave them what they wanted to try and reduce the effect on the economy that this shut down will have. She was the fall guy.
