I guess the brown queen wants to have something to eat nearby, though leaving a slice of a pie on the bed while you're sleeping in that bed isn't very queenly.
The comic you have attached raises two bigger questions:
1. Why is the brown queen sleeping with the white king? That's adultery! It's also treason!
2. Why is the brown queen so impreased with the white king's moves? The queen has much more freedom of movement in chess than the king.
