Even IF it was only for the rich, they're the ones paying most of the Tax bill. Despite all the left's whining about how the rich don't pay taxes, the fact according to the IRS is that those earning $250,000 or more pay 80% of the tax bill. Those considered mega rich are paying 90% of the tax bill.
It not a matter of "they can afford it", it's a matter of the rich people earned it, it's their money, not the governments.
And if the rich get to keep more of their money then they invest it into things that earn them more money. That investment means more jobs for the poor and middle class.
So by all means give the rich a tax break. Taxation is theft.
