SCOTUS ruling!

So Lefty loves Trump's supreme Court now huh? I mean every other ruling it's been Trump's supreme Court but now they're independent

Fun fact, I'm not a lefty. I love most of what Trump is doing, and I find it painful when they go against him, except in this case.

I was against tariffs when Hilary was campaigning on them and I'm against them now. They go against basic economics

And yet the tariffs that have been in place against us since world war II will remain in effect. There are tariffs against American goods entering Europe entering Japan entering almost anywhere around the world and makes it hard for us to compete because it raises the cost of our goods and so Trump was just leveling the playing field.

The way he did it was wrong but was the only way to make it happen quickly now the Congress needs to step up to the bat and do their job and reinstitute them. Unless Europe wants to do away with their tariffs which I highly doubt they will

Republicams understand that corporations don't pay for tax hikes because they pass the cost on to the consumer. Why can't we understand then that other countries don't pay tariffs because they pass the cost onto the consumer?

No, that discourages them from buying American because it costs more due to tarriffs and encourages them to buy locally produced goods even if they are inferior.

The consumer doesn't understand all costs of production are passed along in the price of the final product, and so whether it's tax hikes on corporations or tarriffs on foreign goods both cause things to cost more. However, tarriffs on foreign goods discouraages people from buying cheap chinese and encourages them to buy locally produced goods which are always better because chinese "quality" is an oxymoron.
