It would be less expensive to pay for their expenses in the country they came from. Send them back and support them there.

Better yet. Help their countries to become US states.

No. They are not contiguous. Not only difficult to defend, but those countries are not assimilated in U.S. culture. If anything, help them adopt the U.S. Constitution.

Being contiguous has nothing to do with it. They would be required to adopt the constitution to become states.

And those countries immediately need to adopt the imperial system of measurements, versus metric. Building codes and environmental laws would apply. Not to mention they would have to adopt the US dollar and submit to every IRS rule, regulation and law. Since the standard of living in so many Third World countries is a lot lower than the US, everybody would be in poverty and qualify for welfare. That’s not really viable.
