If you seriously, honestly believe church is unbearable, then I think you're a spoiled brat and you don't really know what suffering is. Being in church is better than being homeless or being in the hospital or being in jail.

All that time energy and money wasted, could be used to make our communities and families and society better and it's being wasted on wealthy people that own churches, they're leeches.

I believe you when you say you can't stand churches, or being in church. I believe that the church you go to is at fault for that.

Please don't throw the baby out with the bath water. There are awesome churches that feed people the spiritual truths. They are doing important work, leading people to Jesus, & life everlasting.

You are revealing that you are simply ignorant of the facts that Jesus lived, walked the earth, died a cruel & miserable death, & was gloriously resurrected. Those are facts, with witnesses. More than 500 witnesses. You can choose to not believe that Jesus is God, but denying quantifiable facts? Dumb.

Taking ETERNITY as a joke is your biggest mistake. Please reconsider your stance on that. It's much more serious than you think. There is a heaven. There is a hell. There is The God, whom you will answer to. Laughing at; Mocking; Disrespecting Him will be something you wish you never did.

Please try out other Bible-believing churches. CALVARY CHAPEL is a good one. People serving God, & serving people.

No. The money they get to run their operation comes from DONATIONS, FROM THEIR PARISHIONERS. Churches do more for communities than anything the government does.

Conservatives make up the vast majority of church attendees. Conservatives donate more money to programs that help other people.
In general, Lefty hates God, doesn't go to church, & doesn't donate money. Lefty thinks the government should take care of people.

Thanks for that. Like I said, I studied the Bible. I studied it for years. It is an amazing piece of work. I studied mostly the KJV but growing up I had a Catholic Bible. I was raised Catholic.

I'm not trying to be a jerk to you or anybody, just trying to get people like you to think. I used to worry about eternal life and all that but then I started looking at the world and especially the USA and the founders and thinking how lucky I am to be American and to be a child of Washington.

Did you know the founders of America were Masons? They were pretty much biblical scholars.

I think 1776 is a dividing line that shit off an old way, the dark ages and opened up a new world of enlightenment. I think that most of the new testament was written by the Catholic Church to reinforce their control over Europe. They had control of the Bible until 1610 when king James I published the KJV. I think he did it because he knew what they were doing.

Yeah buddy, I could go on and on but the thing is:
If we don't have the first amendment we don't have religion. We only have what the government lets us have. So the more I thought about this the more I realized what is truly important and that is this reality of freedom of religion was given to us by men. Saints who created this country. Catholics didn't start America, otherwise we'd still be in the dark ages.

I don't know everything, & don't claim I do. You are probably much smarter than me. Among the few things I do know: God --via Jesus, the Word-- created everything. It's His show. One day, we will all be face to face with our creator & we will either be rewarded, or punished: Eternity in God's glory, or eternity apart from it. Our choice.

Another thing to consider: ALL of our Rights come from God. Our rights are RECOGNIZED
--or they are not recognized-- by the country in which we live. As Americans, we are blessed to have a Constitution that outlines what our country recognizes. One might say that that's the same as giving us our rights -- but it's not.

The witnesses to Jesus after he was murdered, were ~all familiar with Him. They would know Him, His words & style of speaking, His mannerisms, etc.
Paul was writing about the events & those witnesses 20–some years after Jesus's crucifixion.

When he says:
“most of whom are still alive”

That's basically:
A credibility move
An invitation to fact-check
A public memory
That doesn’t align with esoteric secrecy.

Not trying to debate you, brother. You're entitled to understand things however you want.
