Everyone forgets, Texas is being invaded by leftists fleeing their former shit hole states. They don't become Republicans as soon as they cross state lines. The exodus from NYC is going to destroy the political balance wherever they go as well.

Yes, but the 9th district still has a strong Republican majority. And not everyone fleeing to Texas from California is a liberal. A whole lot of conservatives have left California also. Yes, California has conservatives in the state. My brother still lives there. I left before the mass exodus. I don't live in Texas but I have family in Texas.

I'm pretty sure the 9th district is in large part the Ft. Worth Metroplex. Most transplants are moving to metro areas similar to those they fled, primarily for employment opportunities. Bottom line is they don't change their political views when they relocate.

I wish they did. I wish they would get a clue that tge reason they left California is because Democrat policies are destructive. And the reason they moved to Texas is because conservative policies are what made Texas a great state.

But they're usually just too far gone into insanity to ever figure that stuff out. They think if they move to the right by 1/100th of an inch they'll be call a hater. They fear that far more that wanting to know the truth.

I live in a red state that has also gotten a lot of California refugees. I live in Utah. But most of the California refugees are member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Technically I'm also a California refugee but I wasn't born on California and my wife and I left 25 years ago. I was raised in California and lived most of my life there. I lived there when California was still mostly free.

I'm also LDS and when we go back to California to visit family and friends we always go to Church on Sundays. And the once packed churches are now almost empty because of the California exodus. Oddly enough that's the only place were we can see the results of the mass exodus. It had gotten so much more crowded since we moved it doesn't seem like anyone actually left the state. But stats from U-Haul and other moving companies say that people and businesses are leaving more than moving in and they would know.

Utah has its own problems. The state is red but the 3 biggest cities are blue. SLC is deep blue, even though the majority of LDS people are conservative. The last 2 mayors were lesbians and radical leftists. There's been a lot of transplants to Utah and most of them are liberals and not LDS.
