1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV) states: "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs".
However. God also commands us to be prosperous and work. Remember, king David and his son king Salomon were given much riches, not because they loved money but because they loved God. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being rich and prosperous. All that is blessings from God.
So Capilalism from that angle aligns with God, because it requires people to work and be prosperous. Unlike socialism which conditions people to be lazy and depending on the government to support them and their family which also is a HUGE sin.
1 Timothy 5:8 (NIV) states: "Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
