The federal government should long ago have started arresting the governors of sanctuary states and the mayors and city council of sanctuary cities since they are declaring themselves exempt from federal immigration laws.

Exactly! That's the law. What is disturbing, but not unexpected, is the revealing of just how deep the deep state is. I won't be surprised when Congress appropriates a legal defense fund from the taxpayers to pay for their defense against their corruption charges.
