We've done nothing but leave them hanging time and time again

TO be fair, Israel knows they have a high probability of retaliatory attacks from the Islamic world, not just Iran. Missile attacks still continue against Israel even though you don't see reports in western media and their supplies are limited for anti-missile defenses. They asked for a delay for resupply. .A US C-130 landed in Tel Aviv today (1/18/26) with additional Iron Dome supplies to counter any attacks.
Trump got too far over his skis on this one.

It seems the protests are dissipating and close to 20,000 people have been killed, they've probably lost hope. Iran is weak, I'm sure there'll be repercussions but now is the time, I hope something is in the works.

What I'm reading from Iran is that people are being shot if they leave their homes. IRGC and Basij forces are patrolling streets as well as "police" forces and they shoot people indiscriminately, even entire families going for food and water. Unarmed protests seldom last long against heavy machine guns.

And once again they chose wrong to expect us to help, I'm a Trump supporter but this has really dimmed my view of him.

Me too. It's clear that our military assets weren't in place to honor his pledge before he started promising. He would have done much better encouraging restraint in the protests until he could provide that support, Iranians were acting based on his promise. It would have been even better if he hadn't ordered Israel to turn planes around that were going to take out the top bad actors of the regime during the 12 day war.
I understand that Trump needs allies in the senate to get anything done, but watching Graham get more cozy turns my stomach, he's as swampy as you can get.
Trump has used his force of personality through all his business life, but that's not what works at this level. The regime claiming they've defeated paper tiger Trump is frustrating too. They're using it as a recruiting tool. Trump could use a little infusion of Calvin Coolidge to tone down the promoter instincts in world politics.
I've met Trump in person and spent a couple hours with him on a construction site I was managing. I was impressed that he asked great questions and more importantly listened to the answers. I hope he hasn't lost that talent , or worse he's listening to Lindsey Graham types too much.

After this and Tiananmen Square, I hope no oppressed people think the US has their backs. The only thing the US has been historically reliable at is shoveling money at the tyrants to appease them.

Lindsay Graham never saw a war he didn't like, but Iran was a western friendly country until 1979 and they're done with the mullahs. I hope they take it upon themselves and get their freedom back and then impose an oil embargo on us that we earned by leaving them hanging as they've attempted to get their freedom back multiple times through democrat and republican administrations.

Iran has been at the root of international terrorism funding all the subgroups from Hezbollah to ISIS. If the people win out and then have some legitamite hate for the US for the way we've left them hanging I wont blame them one bit.

Truth! Both of these guys need to ride away in the sunset, never to be seen again.
