Yes the entire nation watched leftist and RINO representatives and senators join hands to keep raising the debt ceiling in spite of all the conservatives of this nation speaking out against it for decades. But the historical fact remains that the left's ideological collective's love affair with 'something for nothing' socialism and communism WORKS only as long as there remains well-heeled people that the 'system' can continue stealing from.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. From my perspective, socialism is simply the secular application of Christian principles. In China, communism enabled them to rise from the Stone Age to the space age in less than a century. Greed is a repugnant quality wherever it’s found. When the inequity of wealth is extreme, social upheaval is inevitable

Didn't you notice that the Chinese government has drifted away from communism because capitalism is the ENGINE that runs a high-tech nation and makes it competitive in foreign markets? That's been in the news and everything for at least two decades now. Socialism and communism are failed governmental and economic AND cultural schemes for good reasons.

Given that, why are you so willing to surrender your republic (democracy) into the hands of a megalomaniac who represents everything antithetical to what America represents?
