To some people, doing drag is a way of showing acceptance. Gay men dress as women so they can feel more feminine (sometimes), even if they don't identify as women. My mom's oldest and closest friend is a drag queen at national levels, I can ask about it if u want.

In my humble opinion, drag can be misogynistic because it almost makes fun of feminine attributes as if they’re just a style that men can easily, effortlessly adopt. This is different from trans people or femboys as they tend to be much more respectful towards femininity.

Idk it men dressing up in women’s clothes because it’s how they choose o express themselves and I think it’s usually gay, bi, or pan, men.

But it isn’t just them crossdressing, it’s them doing these elaborate displays of “femininity” which don’t even have that much to do with women, that end up just coming across as distasteful in my opinion
