Almost an adult. Stepping into politics more and more overtime. Need a little bit of some words from others

Learn what the Constitution really says, understand what the meaning of the Declaration of Independence is, build a solid foundation of genuine knowledge. Find a half dozen reliable sources of information- they have a good batting average on being correct. Check what anyone, left or right says against sources you trust, and stand on your own 2 feet. Never stop learning.

Forgot the most important part. Keep a good sense of humor. Advice I got when I was in your position was- it doesn't matter who gets elected, there will always be opportunity to thrive. Ah what the heck, figures don't lie but liars can figure- another gem I was told.

If youre looking to learn about politics my best advice is to get off of this site xD There are political philosophies and movements you can learn about that go beyond the registered political parties in any state btw

Substack.com, books (physical or digital) and digital archives are good if you want to read theory or analysis

Another thought is to read what the rest of the world and their news sources of record have to say about what's happening.
