You're strawmanning, "the left" aren't defending Maduro, they justifiably mistrust the American government invading Venezuela because it has nothing to do with liberating people from a dictator but simply invading the country for oil money.

The oil is a fee, nothing more. Guess spoiled you never lived under a dictator so you can't relate.

Yeah, Cubans don't have oil so the American government can "liberate" them. My point is that the American government doesn't arrest dictators of foreign nations just to be nice to the people oppressed under those regimes but simply for oil and control, basically being a new dictator for them.

Was that the case in Iraq or Panama? I am sure they left it up for the people to vote for their next leader. Correct me if I am wrong. I was in Panama when Noriega was taken down so I know what happened.
