I don’t think that the people that died in 9/11 would be okay with people using their deaths to hate on an innocent man, just like how I don’t think that the Jews that died in the Holocaust would be okay with people using their deaths to justify sending more money and weapons to Israel, which also commits atrocities like how Hitler and the Nazis committed atrocities

I would honestly rather christians be principled and actually know what they believe than be stupid and claim to support me. Even if the former would hurt me more. I feel like so many people have left wing social positions like that purely to make themselves look good and don’t even know what the religion they practice is about.

I will also take christianity over islam though (as someone who is neither of them), since islam’s prophet as a 50 something year old consummated his marriage with a 9 year old, which is not someone that hundreds of millions of people should claim to follow. Islam also contains numerous contradictions as it claims to confirm the torah and gospel but contradicts them on many things.

I don’t think he’s homophobic to be honest, but I would rather someone be principled and go along with their religion than have opposing views with their religion even if that opposing view is supporting gay people. That shows they aren’t solidly based in their own beliefs and don’t have conviction in their faith.

There’s an infamous clip online showing popular Democrats like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton saying homophobic things in the past.

It was always about the votes and never actually about their beliefs. Democrats recently have weaponized minorities to gain votes for themselves. And their politicians also strays significantly from their voterbase. I usually have no problem with a Democrat person. I have a problem with most Democratic politicians.
