Politicians, especially dems, have this bad habit of passing a bill that is good, won't enforce it when it becomes law, then get all pissy when someone to enforce the law.
Recent example - Adam Schiffhead once passed a bill that the president turned into a law that made it okay for presidents to blow up drug boats and in the present Adam along with the rest of the dems got all pissy when Trump started to enforce that law.
