Russia broke it. Give Ukraine back its nukes.
So simple.

In theory, yes. But some issues have arisen since that Memorandum.

The thing is that Ukraine no longer had/has the advanced science and technology infrastructure to maintain those nukes and effectively use them as counter measures to Russian aggression and so it agreed to disarm for monetary considerations and for assurances of protection from the U.S. and other nations for perpetuity.

But the money eventually ran out and those other nations underwent political and priority shifts over time. Essentially Ukraine -- and those signatory nations -- simply kicked the Russian-aggression threat 'can' down the road until the possibility became a reality.

Re-arming Ukraine with-- potentially easier to maintain and much easier to launch -- modern mini-nukes comes with the problem that the Ukrainian government is corrupt and unstable. They are as likely to start WWIII as not.

Finally . . . Russia simply would not stand for Ukraine being re-armed with nukes. It would probably just kick off WWIII itself. A conundrum wrapped inside a puzzle.

Battlefield nukes could be properly supervised and monitored, so corruption wouldn’t be a problem. Besides they’d be launched as soon as the Ukrainian army had them.
Alternatively, at $100,000 per drone , 10,000 long range drones would cost $1 billion. That could cripple Russian infrastructure.

Considering how Trump's 'peace efforts' keep getting undermined one way or the other, it could indeed come down to something like that.

The simple solution is just erase everything the dems have ever done and the world will operate seamlessly.
