I love the krita brushes but I hate the way it saves things

i don't have anything to compare it to so idk what's better

like I wish it would automatically save to a gallery in the app

bc I'll close my computer to go get a snack and when I come back it's like "whoopsie doo your drawing has been lost, would you like this random sketch you did three months ago?"

Krita is a W app. I even got it set up on Windows 7 with a drawing pad and pen for my sister.

I suck at art, so I use it for editing pictures, also with GIMP.
