Schools should have bins for kids to place notes so students can tell on people without anyone knowing that they told. (Unless schools have already tried that to no avail.)

Well there is nothing more or less to expect from leftists when they think all nationalism is neo-nazism, especially american, british, and german nationalism. I know a lot of leftists have lied about nationalism, and I know they have especially lied about german nationalism, they frame it as nazism because they think nazism is just germans that are nationalist, and as a german & protestant nationalist, what they are saying is just blatantly false.

In part it's because they now automatically label any patriot a nationalist because they know that the leftist controlled media outlets will never correct them.
