Arse is too classy a word for them, and very likely beyond their reading comprehension.

Plus kicking a leaking postule of those dimensions and advanced degree of fermentation would be rather messy. And stinky.

Stop being an arse.

Correct, I use arse all the time. Since 2015. That's a whole decade.

You might have come across the word once or twice whilst living in merry old England during the birth of The Beatles, birth of (fake) Punk Rock, and birth of Gothic Rock in the form of the debut of the Cure.

I also use knob and knobhead from time to time as well as nads.

When I watch football on telly, it's the game with the round ball. While feeling sad over the rise and fall of Luton Town F.C.

The Brits came up with the word "soccer," then ditched it for a misspelled version of the Euro misspelled version of what they probably copied from American "Football" when they saw our soldiers playing it in their spare time over there after saving their asses in two World Wars to begin with. I'm surprised they haven't yet changed the title of "His Royal Highness" to "Mr Fancypants" just to try to appeal to us.

Actually rather true. The official name was "association football". It was nicknamed "assoc" which morphed into "soccer". They've been using "soccer" more lately since American football, or "gridiron football" if you will, has become more popular what with NFL games in London and the formation of several amateur clubs playing in organised leagues.

Oh, my, they are?
I liked it better when they made fun of football, calling it a wimpy version of rugby that needs a ton of padding for protection.

There's several games carrying the "football" tag. There's Australian Rules football, Gaelic football, and hybrid gridiron games such as 6/8/9 man football, Canadian football, and flag football.

My father wouldn't let me watch sports growing up, so I don't know much anything.

It's so sad, and not made any less sadder at his age when he really just cannot allow himself to find any joy in anything.

My life is a mess, my body is falling apart as I type this, my future isn't much. But from what I see, what other option do I have but to try to find something to smile at?

Oh, my, "tickety-boo" kinda sounds like that one I made up a couple years ago, "tippendary tippytoo" as a fake example of archaic Britishisms that you utilize.

And yes, "tickety-boo" is very much an outdated term. First time I heard it.
Sheyat, fella, how far back do you go?

“Britishisms” 😂 😂😂

As I have indicated previously, I am very well travelled, well read and educated. Unlike you, I have travelled beyond the confines of the Boroughs…
one tends to learn quite a bit when one expands their horizons. You should try it sometimes.
Hey, I hope you enjoy living under Mamdani. I also look forward to him taxing you to pay for all of his pandering.

True that, I mean, I never even heard of anybody who ever even bothered to claim that they literally lived in the USSR. Other than Lee Harvey Oswald. He's a guy who killed a president in 1963.

You knew about the Beatles when you were living in Sweden before the British knew about the Beatles. Now that is impressive.

You heard the Cure introduce themselves at their first gig as a Goth band in 1977 two years before the term was coined for the genre by the manager of Joy Division in a 1979 television interview.

It's so sad that you never lived in the one country that you always post the flag of.

Goodness, must be a slow morning.
Are no new memes coming out of the Poli chute made by newbs for the crew to pile up on till they get out of here?

What time you got there, any quick photos of the sky?

wha?

But I really haven't seen you use the term, and who is by far my biggest follower on the site?
How much more can anybody copy me constantly?

Cody is an example of someone to whom the word is beyond what he's familiar with,
And Moonie is Scottish, so of course he uses it like every other sentence.
