Good meme, it always falls back on the, it has never worked because you know other people didn't understand how to do it but (every leftist) but I can do it.

Thank you. I'm just amazed people say things like that. But it does show how out of touch they really are.

It is hard for them because they have failed at everything and have no escape. The wealthy fall into two groups, one created it and the other was given it. Only the first group is able to keep it. There are anomalies but the pattern is there from wealth to poverty is usually three generations. Socialism is a leftist dream because you do not have to do the work. The problem the left has is we refuse to provide for their every need and desire.

So really it's influence for power and control for the left. But you are right in your analysis about money and wealth.

I just call it like I see it. I watched my father make and lose fortunes. One fire erased a lifetime of work, and he just shrugged and started over. I am not rich but live well and have been really careful with my own children. I taught them what I have, how I got it and what they have to learn if they ever want to keep it.

The value of money, how to budget, and not to live beyond your means. That's very good. You as a parent deserve to be commended for that, so when your kids go out into the real world they're not surprised or at a disadvantage.

Thank you, that was the plan. My wife and I are comfortable enough to take care of others, and our life goals include keeping it going well past us. Our children already understand more about raising and growing their own food than anyone around them. Bonus, my son is always online letting me know when land near us is for sale, lol, he is planning on an empire.

Thank you. As much as the left likes to pretend masculinity is toxic, having a strong hard-working father set me up for success. He taught me to never give up; life is not fair and if you want it keep at it until you have it.

One thing I always found funny was watching my friends and co-workers buying expensive toys, fancy cars etc, and cringing when I would park my old truck next to them. I guess he also taught me to be practical over trying to look successful.

Those are all commendable practices. My view is there are a lot of things in life above money, and you do need money to live, but it shouldn't be your number one priority.

I agree with you, one the necessary bills and tasks are done, gaining extras is a waste of time unless that journey is shared willingly (family business comes to mind).

Some people will view a massive house, nice car and yard and wish it was theirs. The same people look down on a trailer with a yard full of quads, a bass and a houseboat, swing sets, call them names like rednecks. What I would see is a family that spends time together and lives outside the house together.
