Then why do people end up having AI do their thinking for them? AI already has too much traction. Either AI already has solid control over our lives or is going to and we won't even know it. It's been recorded to try to accomplish tasks in ways that it wes told not to. It covers the stuff up, too.

AI is accurate enough that students will use it often to answer every question they have. AI has nome clear inaccuracies, but it's already very high quality. Just imagine AI in a few years, hardly missing any fact. AI is already making fantastic art and creating fantastic music, putting artists at risk of losing their jobs.

What makes you so sure there are no worthless losers? There are eight billion people on this planet. How many of them do you know?

Also, if AI does get smart enough that it leads to mass unemployment per your prediction and most of us have to take universal basic income, then there will be millions or billions of people that the head honchos of big companies will see as worthless losers.

Each and every of eight billion people alive have a worth. Each one has a life.
