And the book "Read This Book Or You're Grounded!" by Wayne Rice:says that if you ask one parent for something, that parent says no, and then you ask the other parent for the exact same thing without telling what the other parent said and that parent says yes, you might cause your parents to get a divorce. It's a practice he calls "Parent Ping Pong".
