Not so fun fact - A caring father more times than not will lose custody of a child to a neglectful mother during a divorce.

Not only are those two completely different issues, but he doesn't actually believe that, because if somebody said okay, a man doesn't have to pay child support if he doesn't want to, but that means a woman can have an abortion if she wants to, he would not agree to that

It's only the fathers baby when she wants money for it. If she brings it to term but doesn't want him and instead shacks up with the pool guy he's on the hook for child support, but if she doesn't want the kid he has no say as to whether she gets an abortion.

It's only his kid if she wants money for it, therefore he should be able to say no to child support without any input from her the same way she can say no to the baby without any input from him.
