Not trying to diminish the point of the meme though. What's bad about this is that young people may feel far removed from being able to participate in the so-called American Dream, a key component of which is home ownership.

So, should the govt step in and somehow force people to sell their homes for less, so that others can get in on the 'fun' of home ownership? HELL NO!

Sure, it may be a problem, and we may not yet know how to solve it, but the one thing we know with absolute certainty is that the govt can't make it any better. Nearly everything they touch ends up being fcuked up.
