1. We celebrated the Charlie Kirk was gone, not that he was murdered. Those are different things.
2. Most of us aren't stupid enough to post our hit lists publicly(that was a joke although it would be unfortunate if one of those people you mentioned just so happened to have a comically large anvil dropped on their head while walking down the street).
3. We aren't terrorists, they are no longer just political opponents when they believe you shouldn't exist.

I didn't celebrate that Charlie Kirk was gone. AT ALL. I found it horrific. It was a cold-blooded murder. I actually really liked Charlie Kirk btw and mourned his loss. I didn't agree with him on loads of stuff. I have completely *opposite* opinions to him on a bunch of stuff. At least he had the guts to debate anyone.

I never wanted him dead or wished him harm. I actually really enjoyed his videos and was genuinely shocked, disgusted and saddened when he was murdered.

I don't have a hit list.

I don't know if I'm leftwing, but I'm definitely not rightwing. I want to live in a world where homelessness isn't a thing and everyone has health care. I'm such a commie. Where everyone can earn a dignififed wage doing an honest job that pays their rent, food, health care, transport and basic living standards. And we're not at war all the time.

I think Trump is an absolute narcissistic lunatic straight out of a comic book and it boggles my mind how any sane intelligent person can vote for someone as absurd as him.

JK Rowling has her own problems. I don't agree with her on loads of stuff either.

"The left is evil. The left is a gang of terrorists."

That's quite the sweeping statement. I guess I identify as left. I don't identify as evil.

Does this extreme polarization get us anywhere?

Congrats on being a sane person, I wish I was still moderate. Things I've seen in person and the world-changing events I've witnessed in the past few years make me want the stop all the BS in this fricking country.

Maybe it's the part of my autistic ahh brain that want fairness and equality at all costs or it's just how far left I've been pushed because of said extreme polarization but I feel like this country is too far gone.

I want to fix things but the system is rigged to prevent those things from being fixed the right way so sometimes I think they need to be fixed the wrong way.

It just keeps leading me further down the path of extremism to the point I don't even see some people as people just for their opinions.

Sure their opinions are just straight evil and have no place in this world but they are are still people.

But it feels like we have to do something, especially when these people are in power and they create a system where they hold onto it for pretty much forever.

I want to fix it the right way but I can't, so more and more of me believes I need to fix it the wrong way.

Thanks for coming to my potentially incriminating TEDTalk and watching me have a mental breakdown.

Don't get called "sane" that often, I'll be honest lol. I'm nuts. But I think the world is also nuts, so I just troll everything.

I get your frustration. At least, I think I do. (I'm not in your or anyone's head, so I can never know if I truly relate tbf, but I think I get it.)

I think all of us humans have a great capacity for both "good" and "evil". More than a lot of us like to admit, perhaps. Fantasizing and actually acting on fantasies are two very different things, though.

I'm no saint either. I've had my share of dark thoughts, both against myself (gone pretty dark and stared into the void before now and pulled back), and hatred against others. I think we wouldn't be human if we didn't do that. I think we're all of us capable of both great good and evil, more than a lot of us care to admit to ourselves.

The modern world and especially the internet has made us extremely polarized, as we touched on. In a weird way, we've reverted to ancient tribalism. In the sense that we are so black and white now. It's easy to lose yourself, especially online. Then you find the person you think is your enemy online turns out to be your best friend or your own brother irl. They just have very different opinions to you.

It's hard for anyone to stay grounded these days.

The world is arguably a very unfair and cruel place, yes. There is a lot of hardship and injustice. The challenge is to hold on to your humanity in this maelstrom of craziness, I guess. Remember that we're all not really that different at the end of the day. Most humans really want the same things, even if we vehemently disagree on how to get there.

I mean, what do most of us actually want, really? Just to live a life in peace, prosperity and security with our families, play with our kids, work at something that we can be proud of, enjoy our short time here, in good health, and maybe leave the world a tiny bit better than how we found it, and be remembered a few years after we die. We have very different worldviews, but most of us are very similar really and want the same things, thankfully.

I get it, mate. The world is f**ked up. And I wish I had answers, believe me. Why do I step over homeless people in one of the richest countries on earth? I guess just try and be the best human you can be despite the bullshit. Maybe it's a bit of a copout tbf. I guess do it for your own principles.

The world may never be perfect. But we can at least try and make it not more shitty than before. 🤔

Wait, did bro just sum up how the internet divides us further and how all of us are just humans with the same core goals but different ideas on how to reach them? Congratulations, you win a gold star!

Also their shouldn't be billionaires let alone trillionaires, once you become so focused on profit that you would sacrifice the core human values of others to get more, you've lost those core human values:)

Can I cash in the gold star as some kind of online voucher?

The thing about billionaires and trillionaires is that we've created a system that allows individuals to accumulate absurdly vast wealth by harnessing a global market. Something that wasn't possible for most of human history without conquering huge swathes of land or sth.

Success rewards success and it ends up being exponential. And with globalization and now the internet it's ramped it up on steroids. Essentially, if someone gets reasonably successful, the system we have allows them to get *obscenely* successful, whether they want that or not.

And then we call them evil (and maybe some of them are tbf, whatever "evil" means, anyway) and blame them for all of society's ills and how they'd be really tasty and stuff if we eat them (although personally I think they'd be quite chewy and not very nutritious), but really they're often the "victims" of algorithms and stock markets fluctuating.

You go viral, you get rich. And once you have a certain threshold of money, it's much easier to make more, because you can invest and do other things. If you're poor, it's easier to stay poor.

It's the system we've made. But don't quote me cos I'm not an economist.

Anyway my point was we're always fighting but really we want the same things more than a lot of people realize. Even the terrorists and lunatics of this world. Even most of them still want a life like most people. Most people aren't genuine psychopaths who just want to harm people and destroy everything for the hell of it. They want to live their life, have a family, a decent standard of living, freedom, dignity, whatever. We just fight over how to get that. That's what I think anyway.

To answer your question, yes.

All I need is your social security number, your mother's maiden name, the name of your first pet and you email password and we can send that voucher right on over!

I can give you my antisocial insecurity number, my mother's bachelor name, the name of my second dead pet, and my old email password.

Does that help?

Scammers hate this one simple trick!
(Proceeds to lose all the money in my bank account instead of scamming you)

Dude, you're a raging leftie libtard. We both know you have no money in your bank account to steal. So it's all good.
